Christmas Cutout Cookies

Cream Together
 1 cup room temp sour cream(or Greek yogurt)
 1 cup buttersoftened, not melted
 2 cups sugar
 2 eggs
 1 tsp vanilla
 1 tsp baking soda
 5 ½ cups flour
Frosting
 2 cups powdered sugar
 2 tbsp softened butter
 1 tsp vanilla
 34 tbsp evaporated milk
 pinch of salt

The dough will be somewhat sticky.  Wrap with plastic wrap or cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 3-4 hours before rolling out.  Can be refrigerated 3 days to 1 month for planning ahead.

When ready to roll out the dough, make sure to dust the counter with flour to keep it from sticking.  Roll dough to about 1/4" thick.  Use parchment paper on the baking pan for ease of removing after baked. 

Bake at 350* for 8-18 minutes or until cookies spring back when touched.
